41lb Carp catch reported!

At Wold Farm Fisheries we have always known the potential for the Wold lake to produce big fish, whether it be Carp or Catfish, but a recent report of a 41lb Carp capture has surpassed even our expectations. However at this time this is only a reported catch and we would dearly love the Weedon-based angler, who is claimed to have caught this specimen, to get in touch to help substantiate the report and hopefully provide photographs to grace our website! If you are that angler please call Dax , thank you.

Night fishing and extended sessions now available on the Wold Lake on a limited basis, conditions apply, contact Dax for details (dax.miller@woldfarmfisheries.co.uk or 07974 000230).

Catfish arrival

This winter's stocking has seen the introduction of Catfish to the Wold Lake with 20 fish added to over 30lb. The Wold lake is a perfect environment for these fish to grow quickly, as we have seen with the resident Carp.
